Hi all. After a particularly disastrous week I decided to back my iMac up and restore the system but, when I'm reinstalling the OS no destination disk appears. I've left it for ages just in case it takes a while to find it but to no avail. I've run disk utilities and it says the disk is fine but. When I try to select the startup disk, nothing appears.
Quicktime player for mac 10 5 8.
I also tried reinstalling from a Time Machine backup but, despite find the backup on the external drive, it still can't locate the destination disk.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Mac yosemite version.
